Founding Partner — Growth & Customer (m/f/d)
This is the most important seat in the company, and it's open once.
I'm building OfficeOS: we design, build, and operate subscription apps for creators, and the creator owns the result. I run product and engineering. I'm looking for one person to own everything on the other side of the business: customer relations, growth, marketing, and social media at scale. This is a co-founder role, paid in equity, not a salary.
I've got a pitch to Innofounders lined up for October, so the raise is the next milestone, and you'd help shape it. You come in before the round, not after. Read more about me and what I've already shipped on the about page.
Note: this role is based in Germany. When you apply, tell me your preferred base: Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, or Frankfurt. Our working language is English.
Minimum qualifications
- Based in Germany.
- A degree from a top university such as TUM or the best of Hamburg, or a track record that plainly beats one.
- 2+ years in a high-performance environment: investment banking, top-tier strategy consulting, or a fast-scaling startup where you owned real outcomes.
- A real feel for consumer apps: what makes someone download, subscribe, and keep paying.
- Proof you can build and hold customer relationships from nothing.
- Ready to go all in. If you're still studying, you're willing to pause or leave university once we're funded and this turns full-time.
- Fluent English. German is a strong plus for selling into the German market.
Preferred qualifications
- You've grown a channel or an audience and have the numbers to show it.
- You've run marketing or growth end to end, not one channel inside a big team.
- You've sold or negotiated real deals, sponsorships, or partnerships.
- You understand the creator economy and how creators actually think.
- You've worked on or shipped a consumer app and know how retention really behaves.
- You're early in your career, deeply ambitious, and want ownership over a title.
Who you are
- High agency. You see what needs doing and do it before anyone asks.
- Thick-skinned. Cold outreach and a wall of no's don't slow you down.
- Obsessed with the customer, not the org chart.
- Persuasive in writing and on a call. People take you seriously.
- Competitive, with the taste and standards to back it up. Good enough isn't.
- Low ego. You learn fast and say so when you're wrong.
What you'll own
- Every customer relationship, from first touch to long-term retention.
- Growth: set the strategy, run the experiments, own the numbers.
- Marketing across every channel we use.
- Social media built to scale, with systems and a calendar, not one post at a time.
- The go-to-market motion for each new creator app we ship.
- Hiring and leading the customer, growth, and marketing team as we grow.
The deal
- Around 40% equity.
- A standard schedule: 1-year cliff, 4-year vest.
- You come in pre-raise. The Innofounders pitch is set for October, so you shape the round instead of inheriting it.
- Full ownership of your half of the company. I run product and engineering; you run the market. We work as equals, and no one manages you.
How to apply
Skip the standard cover letter. Tell me what you'd own in your first 90 days, one thing you've built or grown from zero, and why this is you. I read every one myself.
Sound like you?
